About Moneytoring.com
1.1 Who is Moneytoring.com and what do you do?
Moneytoring.com is part of GreenOnline B.V., founded in 2010. We provide consumers with a fast, secure, and transparent way to cancel subscriptions, contracts, and memberships in one place. We currently offer our services in 15 European countries. Our goal is to eliminate the hassle of long phone wait times and aggressive retention agents by allowing you to cancel everything online in under 2 minutes.
1.2 How much does your service cost?
Creating a cancellation letter is completely free. You can copy the template, print it, and send it yourself. If you prefer us to handle the administrative work, we offer a professional registered sending service. Prices range between €3.95 and €11.95 (incl. VAT) to send your letter via registered post, registered email, or PEC.
1.3 How does the 100% Cancellation Guarantee work?
With our Cancellation Guarantee, we ensure your request is processed correctly. If an organisation refuses to cooperate despite a valid request, our team will step in. We will contact the organisation directly, and if necessary, our legal counsel will intervene. If we make a mistake, we offer a reimbursement of up to €100. This guarantee is valid for 3 months after using our sending service.
1.4 How can I contact Moneytoring.com?
Do you have a question or a complaint? We are happy to help. While we do not offer phone support, you can reach us anytime via the support section in your Moneytoring.com account, or you can reply to an email you received from us. We typically respond within 2 working days.
1.5 How do you protect my privacy?
We take your privacy seriously. Your data is only used to generate the cancellation letter and facilitate delivery. We retain your name and email address for support purposes. If you want us to completely remove all of your data, simply let us know and we will take care of it.
General Questions about Subscriptions & Legality
2.1 When can I cancel my subscription?
In principle, you can cancel any subscription at any time, provided you respect the notice period. Please note that payments will continue until the notice period has ended. For fixed-term contracts (e.g., a one-year contract), you are usually committed to the payment obligation until the end of that specific term.
2.2 What is the standard cancellation period?
After the initial contract term, subscriptions usually have a notice period of 1 month.
Cooling-off Period: As a consumer, you generally have a legal 14-day cooling-off period after signing a new contract online.
Trial Subscriptions: By law, trial subscriptions should not renew automatically without clear notice. If a regular subscription is tacitly renewed, it usually becomes cancelable on a monthly basis.
2.3 Where can I find my customer or subscription number?
Your customer number is usually found on your invoice, in your welcome email, within your online account environment, or in the payment details of your bank statement. If you cannot find it, most organisations can still process your cancellation using just your name, address, and banking details.
2.4 Is a digital signature or cancellation by email legally valid?
Yes. Under EU Regulation (No 910/2014), electronic signatures carry the same legal weight as handwritten ones. The most important factor is being able to prove the organisation received your request, which is why we provide a Track & Trace code or a legal delivery receipt.
The Cancellation Process at Moneytoring.com
3.1 How do I use the service?
Canceling is simple:
1. Search: Find the organisation you want to cancel.
2. Details: Enter your personal information (this populates the letter automatically).
3. Sign: Add your signature (digitally or by hand).
4. Send: Choose to copy the letter for free or use our registered sending service for guaranteed delivery.
3.2 Which shipping methods do you offer?
All cancellations are sent via registered and legally recognised methods:
Registered Mail: Letters are dispatched every Monday afternoon. You will receive a Track & Trace link to monitor progress. Delivery typically takes up to 7 working days.
PEC (Posta Elettronica Certificata): Specifically for the Italian market, we offer PEC. This is a "Certified Electronic Mail" that has the same legal value as a registered letter with a return receipt (Raccomandata A/R). It provides instant delivery and full legal proof that the recipient has received the document.
Registered Email: Sent immediately. You will find your proof of delivery in your Moneytoring.com account as soon as the cancellation is processed.
3.3 How do I add my signature to the letter?
We automatically generate a signature based on the name you provide, which is accepted by all organisations. If you prefer to add your own, click the pencil icon in the letter template to sign using your mouse or touchscreen.
Status & Confirmation
4.1 I haven't received a confirmation email, what should I do?
Please check your spam folder first. If it’s not there, there may have been a typo in the email address provided. Contact us and we will resend your confirmation and Track & Trace details.
4.2 The organisation hasn't processed my cancellation yet. What now?
Organisations often take up to 30 days to process a cancellation. If more than 30 days have passed, we recommend contacting them directly and providing the Track & Trace code, PEC receipt, or proof of delivery we sent you. Legally, they cannot dispute the cancellation if you have proof of receipt.
4.3 Will I receive a confirmation when the subscription is officially canceled?
You will receive a confirmation from us when your letter is sent. However, the final confirmation of the contract ending comes directly from the organisation you are canceling with. Because you have our proof of delivery, you are legally protected even if their administrative processing takes a little longer.
